Event date 24.10.2026 Time 21:00 The Emma Award-winning Uniklubi secured its place on the Finnish rock scene with its platinum-selling breakthrough album Rakkautta ja piikkilankaa in spring 2004. Unlike many of their contemporaries, the band has also managed to cement its status among long-running successes with eight studio albums and hits released across three different decades. Uniklubi’s latest full-length album 8 was released via Playground in spring 2023. The most recent single, Unohda mut, was released in November 2025. The band, founded in Hämeenkyrö and later based in Tampere, draws influences from both pop and metal. Although the lineup has evolved over the years from a young glam rock newcomer into a more direct, arena-ready rock band, Uniklubi’s appeal lies precisely in its dual nature. On one hand, its delicate expression; on the other, guitar rock that sometimes borders on punk. Perhaps that is also why new generations continue to discover the band, broadening its audience range all the time, while longtime fans remain part of the club.
